BMS Chair Curits Personett on the Balanced Man Scholarship:

Dear Incoming Freshmen:

First and foremost, congratulations on your decision to attend the University of Evansville this fall. We know that the college selection process can be difficult, but we do not doubt you will be satisfied with what you can learn, the people you meet, life experiences and the scholastic challenges at UE. College is a time for self-discovery, and ultimately for deciding what you want to accomplish with the rest of your life.

As a student at UE, I know life will press certain challenges on you; money, for the most part, becomes an issue at any private institution. Being aware of what could become a problem, the men of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Indiana Epsilon chapter, are offering to lend a helping hand. Three balanced Man scholarships in the amounts of $500, $300 and $200 offered to male students excelling in what we believe entail the essential characteristics lending to a balanced life: scholarship, leadership, athletics and community service.

To apply for one of the scholarships, complete the application online (see below) or download the application and return it to the address provided. Upon receipt of the application we will contact you to schedule an interview. Do not hesitate to ask any questions. Feel free to e-mail us at bms@uesigep.org. The deadline for applications is TBA.

SigEp is the largest fraternity on the University of Evansville campus. At UE, SigEps are very involved on campus, excelling athletically and striving for scholastic achievement. We pride ourselves in balancing the ups and downs of college life and wish to reward those individuals who seek to achieve excellence. Enjoy your summer; we look forward to meeting you in the fall.

Sincerely,

Curtis Personett
